Hebrews 10:16-22

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

God has pitched His tabernacle within us, in our hearts. This is the innermost place of worship that He has chosen, where He desires to embed His laws and empowers us to keep His every commandment. It is here that His promise is fulfilled: for Jesus Christ promised that He
would never leave us nor forsake us, that He would give us another comforter Who would be with us and in us, and that He would lead us and guide us into all the truth and show us things to come. This place is the heart of the believer.

This brings us to our reasonable service to God. One cannot passively rely on these promises and expect that God will perform it all. His Word seed is incorruptible, that is very true. However, we must submit to the preparation of our hearts, like soil that is being broken up to receive life-giving seed. This is where Deep calls unto deep. This is where God desires us to diligently seek Him, in the recesses of the human heart where sin nature was born, and where He can deal with us directly and bring us total redemption from the curse of sin. This is where He can work, by the power of the Holy Spirit and through His Word, to transform us into His image. This is where the miracle of rebirth, redemption, and restoration begins. And it all happens by faith in the One True Living God.

Hebrews 11:5-6
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

John 3:5-8 (NKJV)
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
