Faith Statement

                                                         Jesus is Lord!

We believe the following truths out of the word of God are essential in order to receive salvation, and that they form the foundational beginning to walking with God on a daily basis, the way He planned relationship to mankind.
  • The Bible is the Word of God
          (2Tim 3:14-17; 2Pet 1:20-21; John 19:28)
  • Jesus is the Son of God
          (Mat 16:16-17; Mark 1:1; Luke 1:35; John 3:18; Heb 1:1-14)
  • Jesus died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
          (John 3:13-15; John 11:25; Acts 2:25-33; Heb 12:2)
  • Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.                                    There is no other way, He is the Way.
          (John 14:6; Rom 5:1; Rom 10:9-11; Gal 2:16; Gal 3:14; Mark 12:10; Tit 1:1)
  • Water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit as essential elements of faith toward God.
          (Mat 3:6; Mark 1:8; Acts 1:5; Mat 28:19)
  • The Holy Spirit gifts and empowerment are still available and fully functional to those who receive Him.
          (1Cor 12:1-31; 1Cor 14:1-19; John 3:1-12; John 7:38)
  • Eternal judgment for both the righteous and the unrighteous
          (John 3:16-21; Psa 145:20; Mark 16:16)

If you have not already received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, there is no time like the present. The deliverance described in the pages of the Bible is available to all: whoever will call on the name of the Lord. He will be a glorious light shining within you and through you as you walk and talk with Him. Here is a very simple prayer to begin the process:

Father God, I know that I am a sinner, separated from You and desperately in need of Your forgiveness. I need the light of Your love to shine through my spiritual darkness and reveal the way out. I understand that the only path to You is through Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead that I might spend eternity with You. Right now I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I ask You Father to give me the gift of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

I believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible as the anointed word of God, given to men by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Portions of the Word that cannot be taken literally are either parables or unfulfilled prophecy. The Bible is the Word of God and this is why it stands the test of time and remains entirely relevant in all matters to this day. I also believe that the signs of which Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24 are mounting; the Day of the LORD is not far off!

Matthew 24:44
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.
