Psalms 103 KJV

A Psalm of David.

1. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: [1]

[1] According to modern computers, the middle verse in the Bible is not Psalm 118:8, but Psalm 103:1-2. With sixteen words in verse 1 and twelve in verse 2, the center two words would be “his holy,” with 13 words on both sides of it.

3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; [2]

[2] Absolutely prophetic. No Christian is healed of “all his diseases” until he gets his new body (see comments on “Whipping Post Theology” and modern charismatic “quacks” under Matt. 8:17; Rom. 8:21, 23; 1 Pet. 2:24).

4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. [a]

6. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. [b]

11. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12. As far as the east is from the west, [3] so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

[3] On a globe like the earth, you can never keep going north or south; once you hit the “poles,” you are heading in the other direction. But there is no East or West Pole to change your direction. You can keep circling the globe continually travelling east, and you will still be going east (ditto travelling west).

13. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. [c]

14. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.[d]

17. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

18. To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. [4]

[4] Verses 17-18 “unseat” the idea that salvation is “by grace through faith” in all ages. In this passage, somebody inherits God’s righteousness (vs. 17) by works (vs. 18). In Eternity, this is passed from generation to generation by partaking of the Tree of Life (Rev. 22:2, 14). People inherit salvation by bloodline (see comments on Heb. 1:14, where somebody falls heir to salvation, not a kingdom).

19. The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. [5]

[5] The perfect place for an apostate to prove that Christ began a spiritual reign from Heaven over a spiritual kingdom that is being “spread” now (Acts 2:33-35). But the verse has nothing to do with a spiritual kingdom at all. It is talking about Calvin’s famous “sovereignty of God” – an eternal kingship exercising authority over the earthly, political kingdoms of this world, as you read about in Daniel 4:34-37 and 6:25-26. But when you talk about God’s supreme rule from the throne of Heaven over the kingdoms of this world, you should always remember that God has turned over the operation of those kingdoms to the Devil (see comments on Luke 4:6 and Rom. 13:1-4).

20. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, [e] that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22. Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

Comments on Heb. 1:14

Are they not all ministering spirits, [o] sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? [4]

[o] Luke 22:43; Psa. 34:7; Job 4:15-16.

[4] These “heirs of salvation” inherit salvation instead of taking it as a free gift. This is a whole nation guaranteed salvation by inheritance (Psa. 102:28, 115:12-16, 128:5-6; Isa. 59:21, 65:9, 22-23). These “heirs” inherit salvation from their parents because their parents get rid of the Adamic nature by getting access to “the tree of life” forbidden to Adam (Rev. 22:14).

Comments on Luke 4:6 KJV

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; [1] and to whomsoever I will I give it.

[1] As “the god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4), Satan has the powers given to “the powers that be” (Rom. 13:1). This means that the United Nations are controlled by Satan from top to bottom. It is God who delivered Europe to Charlemagne, Napoleon, and Hitler (see Jer. 27:5-8).

Comments on Romans 13:1-4 KJV

1. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers [a] that be are ordained of God. [1]

[a] 1 Pet. 2:13.

[1] The verse is telling you that every demoniac ruler who ever governed (e.g., Nero, Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung) was “ordained” by God (Dan. 4:17); even Satan was ordained to be “the god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4). Jeremiah 43:10 says that Nebuchadnezzar, one of the greatest types of the Antichrist, was God’s “servant.” According to 1 Peter 2:17, you are to honor such men. The “catch” is that you will have to “buck” Caesar if Caesar gives you an order that directly contradicts the orders you got from God (Acts 4:19-20, 5:29). You can see examples of this in Exodus 1:15-20 (the midwives), Daniel 3:1-18 (the three Hebrew children), and Daniel 6:4-10 (Daniel).

2. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. [b] Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

[b] The verse states what a ruler should be, but realistically they are sometimes a terror to good works (see App. 118).

4. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: [c] for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath [d] upon him that doeth evil.
