Psalms 99 KJV

1. The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2. The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3. Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4. The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5. Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6. Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

7. He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8. Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; [a] for the LORD our God is holy.

Notes on Exod. 3:5 KJV

And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. [2]

[2] One of the most horrendous passages in the entire Bible, for this is the first time the word “holy” occurs in the Bible (קֹדֶשׁ). Along with it is the first mention of God calling Israel “my people” (vs. 7) and the first sign, “for the Jews require a sign” (vs. 3 cf. 1 Cor. 1:22). The passage is so loaded we cannot list the verses here.

The first thing that God called “holy” was the thing that He had cursed: “the ground” (Gen. 3:17). This ground is said to be “holy” wherever the ark crossed it (2 Chron. 8:11). The ark originated very near the place where Moses was standing. That is where the ark was made (Exod. 32:28). This means that since the ark went through forty years in the Sinaitic Peninsula, and then stopped, crossed the river, and landed in Jerusalem after attending Joshua’s battle campaigns for twenty years (Josh. 3:3-6), there will be more than two hundred million casualties in that area (Rev. 9:13-19, 16:12-16, 19:11-21).

This is where the “peacekeeping” armies of the United Nations and their “peace process” will be destroyed and wiped out. Notes on Psa. 2:6 KJV

Yet have I set my king [b] upon my holy hill of Zion. [4] [c]

[4] Notice “my king” and “my holy hill.” No king has any business on Mount Zion (the Temple Mount where the “Dome of the Rock” is presently located) unless he’s a Jewish king from the tribe of Judah (John 4:22; Rev. 19:16). No Catholic, Protestant, or Moslem has any more business on Mount Zion than any Canaanite (Zech. 14:21), Ishmaelite, Hittite, Jebusite, or Perizzite (Jer. 25:30; Joel 3:17). God’s idea of a “proper king” is given in 2 Samuel 23:3-5.
